Isaac B Boateng (D. Min, PhD) is a Seventh-day Adventist pastor and educationist. He has received higher education in several different areas and from various universities. He has a total of 20 years teaching experience out of which 10 was for High (secondary) School and 10 for university. At the secondary level, he was a science teacher, Chaplain, Dean of Boys and Principal. At the college level he taught chemistry as a Teaching Assistant at Andrews University. Currently he is teaching at the Valley View University and supervised over 40 Research projects with more than 30 in Graduate School.
He has served as church pastor, district pastor of over 5,000 membership, Conference Youth and Sabbath School Director, Chaplain for Private Tertiary Institutions in Ghana, and President for the Ghanaian Seventh Day Adventist Churches in North America; and has preached in Canada, UK, Italy, Jamaica, Ghana and several places in the United States. He finds fulfillment in ministry and has planted several churches one of which grew to a membership of 350 adults and has also help to build a new church.
He initiated the establishment of Sonlight Community Services - A Non-Profit organization- that supplies After School and Summer School programs which helps immigrant children with English and improve their SAT and ACT scores to get scholarships to Ivy League schools. As Non-profit organization, we were able to receive several grants to support this program.
He also help adults to prepare to take their GED, which helped some enter into Nursing Schools. A Basic Computer literacy programs for the adults was also organized as well as a Caring Ministry based on the Ministry of Healing (page 143), Christ method of mingling with people, and taking care of their needs.
His love of ministry has led him to serve on a Taskforce Coalition Against Family Violence, leadership training, has done over 30 public evangelistic series and planted about 10 churches.
His passion for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ took him to Jamaica with Share Him, revivals and evangelism in Spain, Italy, Germany and Britain and he has even received the AFRICO AWARD- Best African Pastor in Columbus, Ohio because of his involvement in the community.
Pastor Boateng is married to Regina and they enjoy working together in serving the Master and await His soon return.♦
